Hydration + metabolic-minded formulation

Hydration,
rethought.

Regulate is a lightly carbonated electrolyte hydration drink built with metabolic health in mind. We made it for people who don’t like the taste of “healthy” drinks—and we did it without sacrificing the ingredients.

Why we made Regulate

Two goals. One drink.

We wanted serious hydration and a formula that made sense for a metabolic-minded lifestyle. But we also wanted it to taste like something you’d choose even if you weren’t trying to be healthy.

We use real fruit for color and flavor, allulose for a smooth, sugar-like sweetness, and just a hint of monk fruit extract to seal the deal. Then we chose quality forms of our electrolytes instead of building the formula around the cheapest ingredients we could find.

No sugar. No stevia. No artificial-tasting compromise. We didn’t cheap out on the formula, and we didn’t want it to taste like we did.

Hydration without the shortcut

The mineral matters.
So does the form.

We could have used inexpensive mineral forms and still put “electrolytes” on the front of the bag. We didn’t. We chose each source deliberately, then built the hydration formula around them.

Mg
Magnesium Glycinate

A chelated magnesium form. Research generally finds organic magnesium forms more bioavailable than inorganic forms such as magnesium oxide.

K
Potassium Gluconate

A human study cited by NIH found approximately 94% absorption of supplemental potassium gluconate.

See research →
Ca
Calcium Citrate Tetrahydrate

A citrate source of calcium. Comparative research has found higher absorption of calcium citrate than carbonate overall.

See research →
Na
Sodium Bicarbonate

Provides sodium—a major extracellular electrolyte involved in fluid balance—while fitting Regulate’s lightly carbonated formulation.

Cr
And chromium picolinate.

Chromium adds the metabolic-minded side of the formula as an essential trace mineral involved in normal macronutrient metabolism.

Sweetness, rethought

We didn’t replace sugar with something you have to learn to like.

We wanted the sweetness people already love—without simply reaching for sugar or building the entire flavor around an intense high-potency sweetener. So we built Regulate’s sweetness differently.

01
THE FOUNDATION

Allulose.
The sugar lover’s way out.

Allulose is a rare sugar found naturally in small amounts in foods such as figs and raisins. It provides familiar, sugar-like sweetness, but the body handles it differently from traditional sugars such as sucrose.

Most absorbed allulose is excreted largely unchanged and contributes very little energy. In the U.S., FDA allows allulose to be excluded from Total Sugars and Added Sugars declarations and uses about 0.4 calories per gram for labeling—far less than traditional sugar.

We didn’t want to teach ourselves to stop liking sugar. We wanted a better way to get the sweetness we already liked.

02
THE FINISHING TOUCH

A hint of
monk fruit extract.

Monk fruit has a long history of use in southern China. Modern monk fruit extract concentrates intensely sweet compounds called mogrosides, which means only a small amount is needed.

We don’t make monk fruit extract the whole sweetness story. Allulose creates the smooth, sugar-like foundation; a small amount of monk fruit extract rounds it out.

Allulose does the heavy lifting. Monk fruit extract seals the deal.

The whole drink

Hydration. Metabolic-minded ingredients. Taste.

We don’t think you should have to choose between a serious electrolyte formula, thoughtful zero-sugar ingredients, and a drink you genuinely enjoy. Regulate was built around all three.

“Clean ingredients and great taste”

Light and refreshing. I like that there is no stevia (or sugar) to sweeten it.

“Light, refreshing, and mixes cleanly”

I’ve really been enjoying this drink mix. The Wild Berry Bliss flavor is light and refreshing, not too sweet, and doesn’t have that weird aftertaste some mixes do. It dissolves completely without clumps, even when I just shake it in a bottle. The flavor feels balanced and easy to drink, especially on a hot day or during light workouts.

At about a dollar per packet when on sale, it’s not the cheapest option out there, but it does feel like a high-quality product. The ingredients are clean, and I like that it’s sweetened with allulose and monk fruit instead of sugar or stevia. It’s also nice knowing it’s vegan and gluten-free, which makes it easy to share with friends who have dietary restrictions.

The electrolyte blend isn’t super heavy, so I wouldn’t rely on it for major post-workout recovery. It’s more of a daily hydration boost or maintenance drink, which is fine by me. It feels gentle on the stomach and tastes great without being overbearing. I’d definitely pick it up again, especially if it goes on sale.

“Taste not too strong”

Taste is not strong even using it in 16oz. If you're doing a lot of working out I would probably look for something with more potassium and carbs, for daily hydration its not too bad. If you're looking for something low calories or for fasting then this is not too bad. For endurance training or high sweat loss, something with more sodium (500–1000 mg) and some carbohydrates (10–20g) would help maintain energy and prevent cramps. Overall not to bad.

“Refreshing”

I expected the Regulate Where Sweet Meets Healthy drink formula to be like Liquid IV or a similar electrolyte powder but it is different.

First of all, the package says Metabolic Support Hydration Formula. Even though the label mentions electrolytes, I don't think the focus of this product is just supporting electrolyte balance. like Liquid IV or a similar powder but encouraging consumers to drink more water.

Secondly, it is not overly sweet but has a nice berry flavor. I mixed two sticks in a 48 oz. jug of water and drank it while I worked outside for the day. It is refreshing and tastes good. A slight sodium bicarbonate flavor. which isn't overpowering.

It is priced well for 30 individually packaged servings.
